THE RECOVERY PROCESS

1 - THE AUDIT

Good Deeds Asset Recovery audits many government agencies across the country to locate sums of money owed to private individuals and companies. At this point we try and ascertain who is holding the funds, who is owed the funds, and how much funds are being held. From there we attempt to reach out to the people we believe are owed the funds.

2 - CALL US!

If you have received a phone call or letter from us, it is because we believe we have located funds that we believe you or your family are owed. As time is of the essence in collecting these funds, please call us as soon as possible at 225-230-3080!

3 - THE PAPERWORK

Once you have spoken to one of our agents and have verbally agreed to let us work on claiming your funds, we will set up a time at your at your earliest convenience to sign the documents that will allow us to get started. While we may have a general idea of what the claim may be, based on the original audit, we cannot do a full due diligence check without your authorization.​

We work on a contingency basis so there are no out of pocket expenses to you. We ONLY get paid upon successful collection of your claim. We cover ALL expenses related to the claim until it is paid, and if the claim is unsuccessful, you owe us nothing. We assume all of the risk!​

After receiving our paperwork package, we will send a local Notary to collect signatures from you and overnight it back to us.

4 - PAYMENT

Timeline for processing the claim varies according to the complexity of the claim and the location of the funds, as different Parishes/Counties operate under different systems. Claims could take anywhere from several weeks to several months and sometimes more. Once funds are collected, your share will be remitted to you within 30 days of receipt, after a final due diligence check of the claim.
